I’ve been waiting for The Penguin since it was first announced it was being made into a series and let me tell you, it’s every bit as good as I expected. He was already outstanding in The Batman and is even better in a lead role. On top of that, Cristin Milioti is just as good as Sofia Falcone.
I hope we get more stories like this from this world
The two fight to figure out who the number one mobster in Gotham is and to “bring order to all the chaos.” Some people were worried that a supporting character like the Penguin couldn’t carry a series and that it wouldn’t work without Batman or Bruce Wayne, but fear not, because this is more than just a villain in a superhero series, it’s a great crime drama in its own right. It’s a gritty, brutal crime drama that is so much fun to watch unfold.
