A Montana ranching family faces off against others who are encroaching on their land… Forry J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a veteran of the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to the SoCal voice he usually uses.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows That Aren’t on Your Radar (2018). This is the kind of show where cowboy/western life meets big city mob life. This show has a good cast, the first two episodes are well-written, and it leaves you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention the landscapes of Montana and Utah are beautiful. The Duttons remind me of the Ewings from the 70s drama “Dallas.” In short, Yellowstone is "Dallas" meets "The Sopranos".. A new season of "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming releases this month. Check out our November calendar for more!
